Its a GREAT day for a Chimney Sweep!
Chimes the professional office staff here at The Fireplace Doctor. People call in everyday from all over the Southeastern United States to have their Chimney Cleaned or Inspected. While almost no one is burning a fire in this warm Summer weather, plenty of folks still find themselves in need of Chimney Services. I think we've had a record number of Raccoons in Chimneys this month. Usually its birds we get calls for (specifically Chimney Swifts in Chimneys), but its always Something Stuck in the Chimney. Summer for us is made up of Fixing Leaking Chimneys, Animals in Chimneys, and cleaning up the mess afterwards. We're looking forward to an exciting summer!
